H's hula

So our big girl decided to embrace the culture here in Hawaii and learn to hula. The Air Force and Navy Chapels have a praise hula class where the girls learn a dance to praise music. H did a great job and learned the dance even without the amount of practice she was supposed to do! We're trying to upload a video, hopefully that will work soon.

Funny Things I've Said (or Heard)

Just overheard in my living room...D begins nibbling on M, big girl S says, "Daddy don't eat him!" D says, "I can't help it he's so yummy." S responds, "No he's not really good." So D says, "I'll eat you then." S runs away laughing. Silly girl.
The other night C falls off our bed. He starts to giggle and says, "I wasn't expecting that!" What a silly boy!
A recent conversation with C who was playing in my closet during clean up time - "Hey C, is your room clean?" C responds, "Yep." I say, "I hope it's cleaner than it was two minutes ago." C says, "Me too, it was a disaster." His room was still a "disaster."
Big girl S asks me, "Mommy, where are my pants?" I answered, "I don't know. The last time I saw you you were wearing them." She says "oh" and walks away naked from the waist down. D was rolling with laughter.
At bedtime, big girl S tells us she has to go tuh. We tried to clarify but she insisted, "I have to go tuh." S goes to the bathroom sink since she had just brushed her teeth. Next thing we hear (as we are discussing what tuh is) is S saying "tuh, tuh" as she spits in the sink.
C says to D at a restaurant last week, "I don't want any of that syrup on my pancakes Daddy," as he puts down the tabasco sauce!
Why is there a truck in the fridge? (Response: I wanted to play with a cold truck.)
Don't open the syrup with your tongue! (Response: But my hands are sticky!)
